The Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas resort and casino is going all out for its 25th anniversary celebration, offering a luxe travel package — with a price tag of a cool $25,000 — where guests can experience the ultimate Bahamian itinerary.
The package includes a five-night stay at a suite in one of the Atlantis properties — The Royal, The Cove, The Reef or The Coral — as well as a tasting menu at Michelin-starred chef José Andrés’ restaurant Fish. The lavish itinerary will also include experiences such as a day of relaxation at the Madra Spa, a full-day seaplane adventure to Kamalame Cay, a daily poolside cabana with a dedicated butler; a daylong VIP guide to Aquaventure, the largest waterpark in the region; and an omakase and sake experience in Nobu’s exclusive Sake room.
The luxury property has elevated its fine-dining game this year with the recent launch of three concepts, most notably the newest outpost from chef Michael White called Paranza. The menu is an Italian-themed love letter to Italy that showcases fresh, Bahamian- sourced ingredients coupled with beloved Italian and Mediterranean ingredients and flavors. Menu items include White’s signature pesce spada — smoky swordfish paired with a sweet and tangy Sicilian caponata.
Paranza’s opening night was filled with a star-studded, multicourse tasting menu that hosted the likes of Adrien Brody, Tony Danza, Katie Couric, Marcia Gay Harden and many more.
Additionally, the Atlantis recently unveiled additional dining options for the elite traveler, including the Persian-Mediterranean concept Silan and the Bahamas’ first Shake Shack, which includes a bar and cocktail menu with inventive mixed drinks as well as floor-to-ceiling glass walls that offer close-up views of Atlantis’ aquarium, The Dig.
As for the holiday season, the property is preparing its entertainment program, which kicks off Dec. 30 with Maroon 5, as well as its annual Party Like a Royal New Year’s celebration, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and featuring performances by Grammy Award-winning artist Timbaland and a midnight set by DJ Webstar.
