Foundation Source, a major provider of cloud-based software services for private foundations, has acquired PG Calc, a provider of planned-giving software.
The deal, completed this month, expands the company’s offerings of charitable giving services for donors, nonprofits and philanthropic advisers.
PG Calc, founded in 1985, helps nonprofits identify and solicit potential donors and is considered “the gold standard in cloud-based solutions for planned giving and recognized for its high-quality customer base and strong client retention," said Foundation Source CEO Joseph Mrak III. Among its clients are financial services companies, colleges and universities, hospitals, religious groups, cultural and academic institutions, and other tax-exempt organizations.
As part of the deal, PG Calc President Gary Pforzheimer will become Foundation Source’s president of planned giving.
"We're excited about the intuitive synergies and common purpose we share with Foundation Source and are thrilled to combine our efforts to provide greater access to comprehensive software solutions that support charitable giving," Pforzheimer said.
