Sparkling Pointe vineyard on Long Island’s North Fork celebrated its 20th anniversary with a Carnaval-themed event inspired by Rio de Janeiro's famous festival. Founders Tom and Cynthia Rosicki were pioneers in the region with sparkling wine.
“We're thrilled to bring back our Carnaval celebration in honor of our 20th anniversary. This event, which became a cherished tradition from 2009 to 2019, feels like the ideal way to mark two decades of our journey,” Cynthia Rosicki told Crain Currency. “Carnaval has always embodied the joy and energy that Sparkling Pointe stands for, making it the perfect occasion to celebrate our past and toast to our future.”
The celebration featured Brazilian dancers and performers, live music, food trucks and the vineyard’s sparkling wine, including a limited-edition anniversary cuvée. The special bottle featured a label showcasing artwork by Brooklyn artist Craig Anthony Miller, known for his series of paintings and murals that blend a stained-glass style with symbols of freedom, strength, resilience and well-being.
