Vanguard Charitable, a nonprofit and sponsor of donor-advised funds, just announced that it has nearly doubled its investment options –– to 36.
Overall, its investment funds have an average weighted investment fee that is 87% lower than the DAF industry average. Such a low fee effectively amplifies "donor's charitable impact by offering the potential for investment growth and more dollars to grant to charity," per the nonprofit.
Vanguard Charitable's investment menu comprises two categories: Portfolio Solutions, which are pre-allocated options that offer broad market coverage; and Portfolio Builders, which are fund options that represent a variety of asset classes and risk levels that lend themselves to more customized strategies.
“Through conversation with our donors, we identified an appetite for an even greater number of high-value, low-cost investment options that allow donors to customize their investment blend and continue to grow their charitable impact,” said Rebecca Moffett, president of Vanguard Charitable.
