SEI’s Family Office Services, a division of publicly traded SEI Investments Co., is expanding its partnership with fintech startup Canoe Intelligence to automate private equity and hedge fund valuations data into the SEI Archway Platform.
SEI Archway streamlines workflows and data related to investment activity and performance for family office clients that are pursuing alternative assets. The new integration with Canoe adds private equity call and distribution data to SEI’s platform, which is also used to book capital calls and automatically input valuation data.
"Investors expect a personalized wealth management experience tailored to meet their individual financial goals, and alternatives can play an important role in portfolio diversification,” said Sandy Ewing, head of SEI's Family Office Services business. “Family offices require solutions that help make alternatives data more accessible and accurate, given the complex and historically manual nature of the ongoing data management process."
Canoe has processed more than 150,000 documents across 3,400 alternative investments on behalf of SEI’s clients since the companies first formed their partnership. In July, Canoe raised $36 million in a funding round led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives.
