Russell Investments has hired Ayesha Parra to be its new global head of alternatives following her 19 years spent at Goldman Sachs. Parra is based out of Russell's New York office and serves as a member of the firm’s Operating Committee.
Parra held several leadership positions at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, most recently on their General Partner stakes team within the External Investing Group.
"Ayesha’s expertise in portfolio management, product development, and distribution strategy will drive our efforts to deliver innovative solutions to clients," said Kate El-Hillow, president and chief investment officer at Russell Investments. "Her leadership and experience will leverage our network of alternatives specialists to develop solutions that help both institutional and retail investors tap into private market opportunities."
Russell Investments, which serves individual and institutional investors, has $301.5 billion in assets under management and has clients from 30 countries.
