The sports technology venture capital company SeventySix Capital has promoted Andre Mazire to be its new director of business development and operations. Mazire joined SeventySix Capital in 2023 as its director of finance and operations after working for the National Basketball Association, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Mazire will focus on portfolio growth and client acquisition to support SeventySix Capital’s business goals across sports, media and entertainment. He previously worked in international operations for the NBA, helping grow the league’s initiatives in Mumbai and Mexico City.
Investors in Pennsylvania-based SeventySix Capital include Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank and Pittsburgh Pirates owner Bob Nutting, as well as retired National Football League players Brian Westbrook and Emmanuel Sanders. SeventySix Capital invests in companies across sports tech, betting and gaming. The firm’s founder and managing partner is Wayne Kimmel.
