Courtney Joyner Gage has joined the financial advisory firm Align Impact as a senior adviser leading impact investing strategies for clients, with a focus on serving family offices, women investors and inheritors of wealth.
Previously, Joyner Gage founded Mariposa Advisers, a firm launched to help multi-generational, ultra-high-net-worth families with family engagement, philanthropy and investing. She previously spent nine years at Tolleson Wealth Management, where she was director of philanthropy and family engagement and co-founded the firm’s values-based investing initiative for clients.
Joyner Gage is based in Dallas and will report to Align Impact CEO Jenn Kenning. Her arrival follows former Bridgewater executive Greg Tanner joining Santa Monica, California-based Align Impact in August as COO.
“Align has the unique ability as an industry leader in the impact space to help families consider how to deploy their capital in innovative ways — from values-aligned investments to catalytic capital to unique grant opportunities — to help build a world that reflects their family's values and goals,” Joyner Gage said in a release. “I look forward to bringing my experience in working with multigenerational families and advisers to the Align team and their clients.”
