Tanla Yumrukçal has joined the Turkish multi-family office Karman Beyond as its new head of business development. She previously worked as secretary-general for the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey, a nonprofit focused on business compliance in the country.
Knight Frank’s 2024 Wealth Report found that Turkey has amassed the world’s biggest surge in ultra-high-net-worth individuals, with a 9.7% UHNW population increase from 2022 to 2023. The report considers ultra-high-net-worth to be individuals with at least $30 million in net worth.
Karman Beyond offers multi-family office services across tax, investment, law, real estate and finance. The firm was founded in 2022 by Özge Doğan.
“Turkey’s wealth ecosystem is rapidly expanding, presenting major opportunities to be unlocked and many new connections within it to be forged,” Yumrukçal said in a statement. “The significant potential of the business and the opportunity to work with the talented team already on board really stood out to me.”
