The Chicago-based multi-family office Cresset has promoted Jessica Malkin to be its new chief growth officer and executive managing director. She will also continue to serve as chief marketing officer, a role she has held at Cresset since 2021.
Malkin will now lead Cresset's adviser team lift-out program as well as other initiatives within digital marketing, client experience, branding and communications. Malkin joined Cresset in 2019 as an advisory board member and previously served as the chief of staff for Uptake, an AI software company.
Malkin’s promotion follows the September arrival of former JP Morgan executive Amy Hong as Cresset's new chief compliance officer.
“With the number of advisers making the move to independent RIAs like Cresset showing no signs of slowing down, Jessica is exactly the person we need to engage with those advisers to present the many benefits of partnering with a forward-thinking firm like Cresset,” said Susie Cranston, president and COO of Cresset.
Cresset oversees $55 billion in assets under management.
