Mark Baumgartner has left his job as chief investment officer at the Dalio Family Office, according to a report from Institutional Investor.
The Dalio Family Office supports the investments and philanthropic work of Barbara and Ray Dalio, the hedge fund billionaire who founded Bridgewater Associates in 1975. Baumgartner joined the Dalio Family Office in November 2023, following a three-year stint as CIO of the Carnegie Corp. of New York.
Charitable work aided by the Connecticut-based Dalio Family Office includes Dalio Philanthropies, OceanX, Dalio Education, Endless Network and the Beijing Dalio Foundation. On LinkedIn, the Dalio Family Office has current job openings for several roles in investing, accounting and human resources as well as for an executive assistant.
