Wealth management veteran Robert Weiss has joined KeyBank to lead its family wealth business. As the new head of Key Family Wealth, Weiss will oversee the bank’s multi-family office division, which has $23 billion in assets under management.
Ultra-high-net worth clients within Key Family Wealth are provided advising strategies for impact investing, tax and estate planning, credit and philanthropy.
Weiss joins KeyBank after most recently serving as a regional business leader for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management’s First Republic branch encompassing New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
"Robert is a proven leader in the wealth management industry," said Key Wealth President Joe Skarda. "He brings a high level of expertise, values and client dedication aligned with our approach and overall strategy. I am confident he will deliver value for our business, clients and teams."
Weiss will report to Skarda and be based in New York City. Before First Republic, Weiss led the northeast private wealth division at SunTrust and was a managing director at Alliance Bernstein.
