Jon Arnell, the CIO of the Swedish financial firm Max Matthiessen, is leaving to join the family office von Euler & Partners.
Arnell has 20 years of experience in finance and since 2015 has worked at Max Mathiessen, where he began as a portfolio manager and then became head of investment strategy.
“He has long experience with good results and will be a very valuable addition to the team,” Paulina von Euler, the company’s CEO and co-founder, said in a release. “Together we will build Sweden’s leading family office.”
Von Euler & Partners, which was established in 2002 and became part of the Säkra Group last year, specializes in wealth management and investment advice, according to AMWatch.
The firm’s revenue from its assets was €2.9 million ($3.11 million) in 2022, a giant decrease from the previous year, when it was three times as high.
