The killing of UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson has led family offices to rethink cybersecurity amid risks of online exposure.

Former Florida Senate President Tom Lee has been named CEO of Pepin Family Office, representing the family that founded the Tampa-based alcoholic beverage distributor Pepin Distributing.

The registered investment adviser will also be relaunching StrongHer Money, a wealth management initiative geared toward women. 

The acquisition of the digital identification company by the alternative-investment marketplace allows for the creation of the iCapital Investor Passport, designed to reduce duplicative investor profiles and repetitive compliance checks within iCapital.

Peter Lupoff and Mervin Burton have joined the multi-family office as senior partners. 

Sotheby’s will host its first auction in Saudi Arabia on Feb. 8 in Diriyah, a town outside Riyadh.
