A Patek Philippe Reference 2499 pink gold perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatch with moon phases and case by Wenger, made in 1950.

Sotheby’s will auction a collection of 31 vintage watches that carry a combined estimated value of between $10 million and $22 million. Brands Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, and Lange & Söhne are all included in the luxury collection.

The Treasures of Time collection will be auctioned Nov. 10 at the Mandarin Oriental in Geneva in a live sale hosted by Sotheby’s. Highlights of the set include Patek Philippe’s rare 1563 and 2499 references and a Vacheron Constantin watch reference 3307 that was made in 1927 for King Alexander I of Yugoslavia.

Exhibitions for the Treasures of Time collection will be held from September through November in New York City, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei, Dubai and Geneva.

“This exceptional sale reflects the careful, enlightened and passionate curation this distinguished collector has developed over more than five decades,” said Mikael Wallhagen, head of watches at Sotheby’s Geneva. “We have no doubt that this collection will ignite the passion of the most discerning watch collectors all over the world.”
