Lamborghni celebrated its 60th birthday with an incredible driving experience through some of America’s most breathtaking scenery, with a three-day journey from Aspen, Colorado, to Telluride featuring 40 of its sports cars and SUVs.
The legendary automaker debuted in the U.S. its all-terrain Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato during the event, which had participants heading to scenic Paonia, the high plains of Colorado and a final day driving on the famous Million Dollar Highway, with its high peaks and steep cliffs, to the town of Ouray.
The Huracán Sterrato is designed to offer optimum performance on and off the road, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph (97 kph) in 3.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 160 mph (257 kph).
“Seeing the bold spirit of Lamborghini navigating some of the most picturesque landscapes in the country underlines the ‘fun to drive’ experience highly valued by our customers and fans,” said Stephan Winkelmann, chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, who joined participants.
